Terms of Service

Last updated: April 23, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Mont, including our website, web app, editing tools, recording tools, exports, hosted content, APIs, and related services.

Mont is operated by Nauchu AB, organization number 559270-8845, Box 359, 116 74 Stockholm, Sweden. In these terms, "Nauchu AB," "Mont," "we," "our," and "us" all refer to the same company.

1. Acceptance and scope

By creating an account, accessing Mont, or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Mont on behalf of a company, school, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Mont. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to enter into this agreement, to use Mont. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact us promptly at support@usemont.com.

We may refuse registration, reclaim usernames, or restrict accounts where reasonably necessary to protect Mont, our users, or third parties.

3. Plans, billing, renewals, and cancellation

Mont may offer free and paid plans. Current plan descriptions, prices, usage limits, and feature availability are shown on our website, in the app, or at checkout.

If you buy a paid subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the applicable fees, taxes, and any other disclosed amounts using your selected payment method. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal.

You can cancel renewal through the billing tools we make available, including the billing portal in your account where applicable. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

We may change pricing, plans, or included features from time to time. If we do, the change will apply prospectively, and we will provide notice when required by law. Promotional offers, trials, credits, or discounts may be subject to separate terms disclosed at the time they are offered.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Mont to:

  • break the law or violate another person's rights;
  • record, upload, publish, or distribute content without the rights, permissions, or consents needed to do so;
  • store, transmit, or share malware, harmful code, spam, fraud, or deceptive content;
  • probe, scan, reverse engineer, interfere with, or bypass Mont's security, access controls, technical limits, or usage restrictions;
  • use Mont to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other legal rights;
  • use automated means to scrape, mirror, or extract Mont data except as explicitly permitted by us; or
  • use Mont in any way that could harm the service or other users.

Because Mont includes recording and sharing features, you are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to recording, monitoring, consent, employment, confidentiality, and data protection in the places where you and your audience are located.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the videos, audio, images, text, slides, transcripts, project files, prompts, and other content you upload to or create with Mont ("User Content").

You grant Nauchu AB a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, transcode, format, adapt, display, transmit, and otherwise process your User Content as needed to operate, secure, maintain, back up, improve, and provide Mont, including making your content available according to your sharing settings and your instructions.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, and consents needed for your User Content and for our processing of it under these Terms. This includes permissions from people appearing in recordings and rights to any music, visuals, brands, documents, slides, or third-party materials included in your content.

We may remove, disable access to, or refuse to host User Content if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, the law, or another person's rights, or if removal is necessary to protect Mont or comply with a legal obligation.

Mont is not an archival service. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important projects and exports.

6. AI features and third-party services

Some Mont features may rely on third-party infrastructure or providers, including payment processors, cloud hosting providers, transcription services, voice or image services, and artificial intelligence tools.

If you use AI-powered features, you understand that outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, infringing, or otherwise unsuitable for your use case. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, publishing them, or using them in professional, commercial, or educational settings.

We may pass your inputs, prompts, files, or related metadata to third-party providers only to the extent needed to provide the requested feature. Some third-party terms may also apply to your use of those features.

7. Mont intellectual property

Mont, including the software, design, branding, interfaces, templates, and all related intellectual property rights, belongs to Nauchu AB or its licensors. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use Mont for your internal business or personal use.

You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative versions of Mont except where applicable law clearly permits it.

If you send us suggestions, ideas, feedback, or product requests, we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.

8. Privacy and usage data

Our handling of personal data is governed by any privacy notice or privacy policy we make available for Mont. You agree that we may collect and use service data, account data, technical logs, and usage information as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve Mont.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified data for analytics, service improvement, and business operations, provided that such data does not identify you personally.

9. Availability, changes, and beta features

We are continuously developing Mont. We may add, remove, replace, or modify features, integrations, limits, or technical requirements at any time.

We do not guarantee that Mont will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content will always remain available. Maintenance, outages, provider failures, and technical incidents can happen.

If we label a feature as beta, preview, experimental, or similar, that feature may be incomplete, may change more frequently, and may be withdrawn at any time.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Mont at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, remove content, or downgrade your account if we reasonably believe that:

  • you breached these Terms;
  • your use creates legal, security, or operational risk;
  • payment is overdue or fraudulent;
  • we are required to do so by law; or
  • continuing to provide the service is no longer commercially or technically viable.

After termination, your right to use Mont ends immediately. We may delete or disable access to your content and account data after a reasonable period, unless we are required by law to keep it longer.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mont is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment.

We do not warrant that Mont will meet your requirements, that recordings or exports will never fail, that AI or transcription outputs will be accurate, or that any shared content will remain available without interruption.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nauchu AB will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, business, goodwill, data, or content, arising out of or related to Mont or these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nauchu AB's total liability for all claims arising out of or related to Mont or these Terms will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid to us for Mont during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for willful misconduct, gross negligence, or mandatory consumer protections where applicable.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless Nauchu AB and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors from third-party claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of Mont, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.

Unless applicable consumer law says otherwise, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or Mont will be resolved exclusively by the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will publish the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. If a change materially adversely affects you, we will provide additional notice where required by law.

By continuing to use Mont after updated Terms become effective, you agree to the updated Terms.
